Dr. Hamlet T. Newsom has been in the practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery in Dallas for over 20 years. The hallmark of his practice is the personal caring approach to each patient that he sees. In this fast-paced environment that we all live in, his unhurried evaluation of each concern that a patient expresses is comforting and reassuring.
Dr. Newsom is board certified in Plastic Surgery as well as General Surgery. He has given presentations to plastic surgeons throughout the United States and has authored many articles on various subjects in his specialty. His participation in the training of plastic surgeons at Southwestern Medical School covers a period of 20 years.
The respect of his fellow plastic surgeons is reflected by his being Past President of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as Past Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
